NOTIFICATION OF DEPARTMENTAL EXAMINATION FOR FILLING UP OF VACANCIES OF MTS CADRE

Notification in c/w Competitive Examination for filling up of vacancies of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) cadre of the year 2016-17 has been published. Details are given below -

Application (completely filled-up in all respect) must reach the O/o the Sr. Supdt. Post Office, Bankura Division through concerned Unit Head by 25.11.2016.

·         ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The GDS candidates who joined in the service on or after 01.04.2016 would NOT be permitted to appear in the examination.

The age limit for the GDS candidates shall be 50 years as on 1^st April of the year of vacancy.  The age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST candidates upto 5 years and for OBC candidates upto 3 years.

·         DETAILS OF EXAMINATION:

a)    Duration: 120 minutes.

b)    Qualifying Marks:

i.            Part A&B – minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST, 9 marks for OBC.

ii.          Part C (two segments) – Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST, 9 marks for OBC  candidates in each segments.

iii.         40% marks for OC, 33% marks for SC/ST, 37% marks for OBC.

c)    Examination Fees:

Rs.5/- in shape of UCR for all except female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories.

Important Instructions:

·         Candidates must take the original Admit Card duly attested at the examination centre.

·         Only ball point pen of BLACK or BLUE ink is allowed for marking the OMR Answer Sheet.

·         There is no negative marking.

·         NO correction/overwriting/modification will be allowed in the OMR Answer Sheet.
