Application (completely filled-up in all respect) must reach the O/o the Sr. Supdt. Post Office, Bankura Division through concerned Unit Head by 21.11.2016.

·         ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The MTS candidates must have completed 3 years of regular service on the grade as on 1^st April of the year of vacancy (2016-17).

The GDS candidates must have worked for 5 years in that capacity as on 1^st April of the year of vacancy.

The age limit for the GDS candidates shall be 50 years as on 1^st April of the year of vacancy.  The age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST candidates upto 5 years and for OBC candidates upto 3 years.

·         DETAILS OF EXAMINATION:

a)    Duration: 120 minutes.

b)    Qualifying Marks:

i.            Part A&B – minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST, 9 marks for OBC.

ii.          Part C (two segments) – Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST, 9 marks for OBC  candidates in each segments.

iii.         40% marks for OC, 33% marks for SC/ST, 37% marks for OBC in aggregate. 

c)    Examination Fees:

Rs.5/- in shape of UCR for all except female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories.

Important Instructions:

·   Candidates must take the original Admit Card duly attested at the examination centre.

·     Only ball point pen of BLACK or BLUE ink is allowed for marking the OMR Answer Sheet.

·    NO correction/overwriting/modification will be allowed in the OMR Answer Sheet.
